Hello class participants, I appreciate your feedback:)

In the two stories we read in this unit; The Lemonade War and The Case of the Gasping Garbage, we found characters that were facing a challenge. I want you to choose TWO characters from either of the books and compare and contrast how they overcame the challenges that they were facing.

REMEMBER TO:

Use Temporal words
Use Correct Spelling and grammar
Compare and Contrast the two characters and HOW they overcame their challenges.

VIDEO TIME!

Please watch this youtube video.

We will have a discussion about how we Compare and Contrast characters in stories tomorrow in class.
Now I want you to post what you remember about the story below. What was important to remember about the story. Tell me information about the main characters. What are some of their character traits?

In the comments section below: write down what you remember about the story. Tell me what you think is important in this story.

This month we are going to be working on a Three Paragraph Essay to wrap up our first Unit of Reading.

As you remember, we have read three stories this unit. They are:

The Lemonade War

The Case of the Gasping Garbage

Thunder Cake

Each of these stories was in the Genre of REALISTIC FICTION.

We know that Realistic Fiction are stories that are made up and not true. We also know that the stories COULD BE TRUE or are REALISTIC; which means that they could happen in real life.

ASSIGNMENT:

In the following three blog posts, I would like you to comment on what you remember about the stories. Give a short summary abot the plot of the story and what you think is important in the story.
Welcome to our ELA Blog, class 301! I this blog you will find assignments and resources to assist us in creating our various ELA Projects and Unit Final Writing Assignments that are required throughout the year.

Be sure to check out the due dates both HERE and IN CLASS:)

Feel free to comment if you have any questions.
